Lancôme: Teint Visionnaire Foundation Review

Hiya Everyone!

I've been using this skin perfecting foundation for just over a month now, so I thought I'd do a quick review on it to let you know what I think.

It was actually the concealer that first attracted me to this product, I'd been looking for a really creamy and light weight concealer for under my eyes and any redness, my friend works for Lancome and suggested this product to me. I really struggle to find foundations that suit my skin tone, I like my foundation to look really golden and dewy plus I have dry skin so I need it to be moisturising at the same time. This foundation is perfect for that, I'm in the colour 05.

Concealer and Foundation Swatches

The concealer is in the lid of the packaging, with a tiny compact mirror which is really handy for touch ups during the day; When you take the lid off you have the pump foundation. The foundation is said to have many skincare benefits, it helps even out skin tone, reduce dark spots, wrinkles and pores, as I said I have been using it for over a month now and i haven't noticed a great deal of change in my skin but i love the consistency and staying power of the product. if you are looking for a more full coverage foundation then this one may not be right for you as it is quiet sheer but it gives an amazing glow.

The foundation is really easy to apply it blends really easy too, I use my M.A.C 180 brush and just buff it in and I apply the concealer with my fingers. The only downside to this foundation is the packaging becomes full of product quickly, every so often i have to just wipe it down and around the concealer to keep it neat. I purchased mine at my local Debenhams I think it was around £30 for a 30ml foundation/concealer.

Hope you found this helpful and let me know if you have tried it and what you thought! I also purchased one of their new blushers which will probably be my next post!

Mini Haul

Hiya Everyone!

I bought these products a while ago but I forgot to blog about them, but now i've used everything i can tell you what i think about them!

Clinique
Perfectly Real Make Up
Shade: 42

This is my new favourite foundation! i got a sample of this from my local Clinique counter and i loved it that much that i went back and bought one full size, i have really dry skin and i like how it stays dewy all day and doesn't dry my skin out. Plus the coverage is amazing!! If i go on a night out i don't set it with powder and my skin in the photos looks so good!!

Clarins
Eye Quartet Mineral Palette
Limited Edition

I got this palette as a Christmas present and i put it in a draw and totally forgot about it, then a few weeks ago i pulled it out and i've used it almost everyday since. it comes with 3 eye shadows and a cream eye shadow. It's perfect if your travelling and it comes with a instructional card, for day looks and night looks. This was a Limited edition palette so i'm not sure if you will still be able to get it.

Urban Decay
Eye-shadow Primer Potion
Sin

My eye shadow primer ran out and i needed to replace it, it usually have the original one, that has no colour to it but i thought i'd try one of the other primers, i went for the Shade Sin. It's really nice texture and it gives your eyelids a golden sparkle, I've even worn it on it's own before.

No7
 Pampering Dry Oil Body Spray

I bought this because i wanted something to keep in my locker at work so i could use it during my shift when my skin was feeling dry, and it's perfect. I even use it on my legs if i'm not wearing tights, plus it smells amazing!!

Jon Richard

I got this during the sales in January, so i'm not sure if you'll be able to get it but i thought i'd blog about it anyway.  I love this black ring its really simple but looks amazing! I wear it when i'm wearing an outfit that has a lot of pattern going out but i still want to wear some jewellery.

Occupy - Urban Decay - Vice Palette

Hiya Everyone, I got the Urban Decay Vice Palette for Christmas so I've been using that everyday since to do my make up so here is today's look.  Hope you guys like it!

So i used Chaos as a base on the lid, then i layered it with Occupy, my highlighter and inner corner shadow is Echo Beach, then just to make the blending easier I used Vice in the crease. Finally I added Black Market to the outer corner.

Design Control Gel

Hiya Everyone,

Another one of my Christmas presents was this Design Control Gel, by the brand Lusters Pink, i thought id do a review about it as it is now one of my fave products!

Its used to hold your hair in place while conditioning the hair, the instructions say that it should be applied to damp hair and then hair can be styled as normal. I use this when i'm blow drying my hair and my hair is so smooth and healthy looking after, and it does stay straighter for longer when i use this product and it doesn't leave any sticky greasy residue. Plus it smells amazing!!

If you have afro hair i would really recommend you give this a go!!
